Operation: 

Switch boiler on…the display screen will illuminate and read ‘NOT READY’. Once boiler has heated up to the correct pre-set temperature, the LC display changes from Red to White and reads ‘READY’. The water temperature in degrees C is also displayed on the screen. 

Note: The water temperature is factory-set to default; 96 degrees C (recommended). However, the temperature can be adjusted within ‘program set-up’, to between 80 and 98 degrees C. 

To dispense boiling water:

Place a vessel within the recessed cup area. This breaks a safety light beam which in turn, sends a signal to the dispense sensor. The sensor will illuminate brighter, to indicate that it has been activated and ready for use. 

There are two set-up options for dispensing boiling water; 

1. On-demand (water is dispensed for as long as the sensor is activated by the presence of the operator’s hand) 

2. Timed dispense (as soon as sensor is activated by passing a hand/finger in front of the sensor (within 25mm), a pre-set measured dose of water is automatically dispensed). This is ideal where the same size of cup/pot is always used. 

Flashing Safety Warning: Whenever the boiler dispenses boiling water, a ‘CAUTION BOILING WATER’ message will flash in the display window, reminding the user to exercise caution. 

Top-up Feature: In addition, at the end of the measured dispense cycle, the CAUTION’ message will continue to flash for a further 5 seconds. During this 5-second window, the water level in the cup or teapot can be ‘topped-up’ by simply passing hand/finger across the front of sensor to activate and top-up the drink (Note: Once the CAUTION message stops flashing, the top-up facility ends, and the boiler reverts back to timed dispense mode).
