The brief
Based in the heart of Norwich, No. 8 Thorpe Road is not only where Red Cat Partnership is based, a health and safety consultancy, but it is also a flexible office and meeting space. With 10 spaces available for hot desking and conferences, this busy small office is host to a lot of people on a daily basis.
On the first floor of the building tenants and guests can find a bright, welcoming communal kitchen and break-out area. With the existing hot water tap needing replacing - which was also known to spit and splutter - owner of Red Cat Partnership Sarah Daniels, and support officer Sam Maguire-Hill looked to Instanta for their solution.
The solution
Having already heard of Instanta as a catering brand, the team at Red Cat chose Instanta’s latest generation of InstaTap for instant boiling water. Installed on the worktop next to the sink, the tap can be easily accessed by staff and guests, and delivers a smooth stream of boiling water with no dangerous spitting.
‘Another thing that attracted us to the InstaTap was the hygiene benefit,’ adds Sam. ‘With so many people using it on a daily basis it’s reassuring to know that there is a feature to help keep users safe.’
Sam is referring to SteriTouch, an additive which is embedded into the touchpad and reduces bacteria by 99.99%.
The results
‘We’ve been really happy with the InstaTap,’ comments Sarah. ‘It does exactly what we want it to do - as safely as possible - a huge benefit when you have multiple people using it.’
